Irises, weigela, and foxglove

My 94-year-old grandmother gave me these bulbs,
which were her mother's,
so they are over 80 years old.

The weigela is just starting to bloom.

Turn your head to see the foxglove.

  1. These are so lovely Linda. Amazing that those bulbs are that old - what a family heirloom to pass on!

  2. Yes, and to think I didn't kill them. I never did have much of a green thumb (one year all the zucchini I planted died. Whoever heard of that?). I'm so thankful that God puts "life" into these things!
